Author Notes: CATHRYN SILL, a graduate of Western Carolina University, has been an elementary school teacher for fifteen years. With her husband John and brother-in-law Ben, she co-authored A Field Guide to Little-Known and Seldom-Seen Birds of North America, Another Field Guide to Little-Known and Seldom-Seen Birds of North America, and Beyond Birdwatching.

JOHN SILL, a North Carolina native, holds a BS in wildlife biology from North Carolina State University. Combining his knowledge of wildlife and artistic skill, John has gained several awards and an impressive reputation as a wildlife artist.
