Summary: |
When the leader of a militant communist insurgency in the Philippines escapes capture from the U.S. government with almost supernatural ease, it's up to Juan Cabrillo and the crew of the Oregon to catch him. Tracing the Filipino insurgent through his drug lord allies, Cabrillo learns his new adversary has his eye on an addictive chemical compound developed during World War II that can turn civilians into supersoldiers. And he's not the only one. An unpredictable gun for hire is zeroing in on the same target. Trapped in a battle between two madmen hungry for power, Chairman Cabrillo must rely on his crew, still shaken by the loss of a dear friend, and some unexpected allies for help. But Cabrillo may be sending his friends into much more troubled waters than he realizes. The megastorm of the century is brewing off the Pacific coast. Once the downpour beings, there'll be no turning back for anyone |
