Sean Lewis was born in Toronto (Tkaronto), the ancestral and traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Haudenosaune, the Anishnabe and the Huron-Wendat. He received a Bachelor of Design from OCADU and his thesis earned a gold medal in 2011. He has worked in film as a concept artist/matte painter, a sessional instructor at OCADU and a freelance illustrator commissioned by clients such as The BBC, Aquila Magazine and The Walrus. In 2021 he illustrated an Annie Award nominated music video for Fleet Foxes. His first picture book, published by A24 will be released in Fall 2022. |
