During her lifetime, she wrote more than 200 books for young readers including the Pee Wee Scouts series, the Kitty series, and the Angel series. She also wrote a handbook entitled The 29 Most Common Writing Mistakes and How to Avoid Them. She conducted writing workshops in her home and wrote a column for Once Upon A Time, a St. Paul newsletter for aspiring authors of children's books.
